Having been born and raised in Barrie, it has been a privilege to serve the community I proudly call home. I believe Ward 1 deserves a representative who will listen to residents, speak up for their priorities, and advocate for the future they want and deserve.

Following my meeting with the Barrie Professional Firefighters Association and other EMS service individuals, I’m sharing what I heard from those serving our community and the priorities that matter to them.
What Ward One Means to Me
Ward One is more than houses—it is generations of memories, history, and community. I believe we can revitalize Ward One while protecting the character that has made it special for generations.
Change That Will Work
Downtown Barrie has been struggling for years, and I believe we need a more coordinated approach that will actually work. By bringing key services and resources together in one dedicated facility, we could provide more effective support while addressing some of the major challenges facing our downtown. Partnering with experienced organizations such as CAMH or Ontario Shores could bring valuable expertise, proven programs, and additional support to our community.
